Hey folks, happy to finally be able to share my rendition of the iconic Magic the Gathering card: Force of Will. (From the Double Masters MTG set) Here is 10 minutes of behind the scenes process art, narrated by yours truly.
The painting was done almost entirely in FW Acrylic ink, using Robert Simmons brushes and Nikko nib/dip pens. The surface is Ampersand primed cradled panel.
Let me tell you, as a MTG artist who played the game in the 90’s, before I ever started working for them, this was a total honor to do.
Excellent…
Brilliant piece! Have not seen the card in person but people say it looks incredible.
Thank you for continually making awesome process videos!

Run 1 of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was a groundbreaking scientific achievement that reshaped our understanding of the universe. Taking place from 2009 to 2013, it provided invaluable data that led to the historic discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012—a milestone in particle physics that confirmed the mechanism by which particles acquire mass. The success of Run 1 was a testament to the dedication and ingenuity of scientists and engineers worldwide, paving the way for deeper exploration into the fundamental forces of nature.
