Here are a few of the paintings which will be in my solo show, opening at the Arte Verissima Gallery in Oakland, California this month.
These images are quite large. At about three and a half by four and a half feet, they allowed me to be very expressive with the brush and strokes.
The title of the show is “Weightless” and deals with my impressions of risk and failure, but mostly they should illicit an experience in the viewer that may be familiar, or quite foreign, but completely private. It’s the first of a series of
concepts on elements that I plan to develop from show to show.
I hope if any of you Muddy readers are in the Bay Area of San Francisco on January 24th, you’ll stop in for the opening!
damn, Greg. The use of hard and soft edges! It's amazing!!
These are great! Wish I could visit but a trip from Sweden is somewhat above my ability. Will there be signed prints available for purchase, by the way?
I really like the ruthless dabs of paint on the figures on their shadow side. Great signature too!
A fun variation of the multiplayer knockout game genre that is well-liked by young people today is Stumble Guys. Stumble Guys, an action spin-off of the well-known game Fall Guys, with gameplay that is quite similar to that of the original while also featuring many intriguing upgrades.
It’s a fantastic exercise for your mental agility.
