The new Tom Lovell book I ordered from Illustrated Press just arrived yesterday. Overall, the book is pretty fantastic. A small portion of the images are reproductions of previously printed images, resulting in a few low-resolution, grainy reproductions. But the vast majority of the work contained within is beautifully reproduced, quite often from the original art. Very little of this book overlaps the previous book on Tom Lovell’s art, ‘An Invitation to History‘.
