Good September to you all. I am lost in deadlines and almost forgot today was post day. All things were a bit rushed, so the editing was not as slick as it could be when the arm of the artist goes in and out of frame there is a scale/focus shift that was not caught until too late.
And for those of you who still don’t understand, I hope that this video in part helps with the bridge that has been difficult to build; this really is a very universal medium. It can mimic the look of most all of the wet mediums, and some dry mediums with the right surface.
Stay creative and expand your toolbox!
Wow, outstanding demo sir..
Thank you Jeeva.
Wa-Wa What?! Wow! I didn’t know you could do that with oil paints! Thanks for showing another of your awesome videos! When are you going to have lemenaid.com up and running? I’m interested in getting mentorship by you! Thanks!
So is this oil then? Not spelled out
Beautiful! I like the stay creative and add to your tool box. I am working on it! I love this tree. So simple. I have another idea for a flower, the flowers that dance with me in the breeze. Yes sounds nice. yes!
Incredible demo Ron! I was wondering what medium you were using! The gloss made me think you were painting on wet linoleum with metallic paints.
Personally I’ve been using acrylics and gouache because oils is such a high maintenance medium for me. With so many solvents, thinners (all requiring proper use and disposal), surfaces, etc it feels like a science experiment. I do love oils but being self taught, I’m always concerned if what I’m using will cause it to crack later, ruin my brushes or cause health problems.
Also I don’t mind if your videos don’t have a lot of polish, I just enjoy watching your procedure. Best of luck with your deadlines!
