I’m a little late finding out about this since it was released in October, but I’ve been really enjoying the animated scifi series Scavengers Reign. A friend pitched it to me with the words “Hey this has a Moebius look” – which had me intrigued but set the bar pretty high. It hasn’t disappointed! Really inventive and strange alien ecosystem and landscapes and a mature story – it’s a creepy show, definitely for adults. It’s streaming on Max.
Yeah! It was a great series. I remember seeing the original short years ago and being so wowed by the weirdness of it and, of course, the moebius look to it. I was so excited to learn they made it into a series.
it’s so good!! I love how it makes you look at things differently. Like I feel more wonder about my houseplants, haha!
