I suspect that if you’re here, you already know of Tyler Jacobson’s artwork. Tyler is a versatile and skilled artist and has done work for a huge range of clients, often with his work serving as the front piece for marketing and product development. But his work is also used as the foundational work for licenses like Magic: the Gathering when he wears the hat of a concept artist!
If you aren’t aware of his book, then you’re going to want to pick up a copy! I made a video flip through so you can get an idea of the breadth of work but also the incredible quality throughout.
You can find this book for purchase on Tyler’s publisher’s site
You can also find the unsigned hardcover that doesn’t come in a slipcase via Amazon
I would recommend the slipcased version. It is that great of a book that you might want to protect it. But it is nice to have the option to get the less expensive version if that’s what your budget.
The book is inspiring. It is full of finished works as well as some amazing concept art. If you collect any books on fantasy art or illustration, this is a must in your collection. I am sure there will be additional Art of books by Tyler because he is so prolific. Get this one to start your collection off right!
