Some of you may recount I post I wrote a while back about the first time I discovered Airbrush Action Magazine. I was 14 years old, and it was my introduction to the work what would be my greatest artistic influences:
So it tickles me to no end that 23 years later, I get to be on the cover of the very same magazine that helped set me onto this path in the first place.
The latest issue of Airbrush Action Magazine did a lengthy post about the most recent Spectrum Fantastic Art Live event. In the article, they discuss the convention itself, the Spectrum Awards, and spotlight the work of a lot of different exhibitors.
You can purchase a copy of the magazine, print or digital, right here: http://store.airbrushaction.com/latest-issue/
A wonderful closure of the circle Dan! Now you are that artist who will inspire another generation to pick up the creative banner and pursue visions as they discover the world…
That magazine was a huge influence on me when I was growing up as well. Guys like Sorayama but even more was Mark Fredrickson's work. Congrats on coming full circle!
Congrats! I started buying Airbrush Action in high school before I even had an airbrush because of all the wonderful artists they featured. You're in good company.
Ditto to all above. Jerry really did a great job in getting so much space and making this great. Couldn't think of a more perfect cover decision. Ah the circle of life.
OUTSTANDING ARTWORK, I LIKE TO USE THE AB TUBO AIRBRUSH FOR MY ARTWORK.
It’s a shame that AIRBRUSH ART & ACTION MAGAZINE is not published anymore. I loved it!
