November 27, 2024 -     Nearly every artist has a breakout painting that establishes their direction. A signature piece that people point to and say, “I like their style (approach, voice, etc)” It’s an image that pulls all their experience and skills together at one point and establishes a direction. It’s a breakout piece, and they can happen all along the way. It may not happen right away. It may take years, even a decade, before that one painting comes alive before you.
