All the Stars in the Sky – Cover

Winona Nelson

March 10, 2025 - A picture book I illustrated for Simon and Schuster went online for pre-order recently! "All the Stars in the Sky" by Art Coulson is a really sweet story about a young Cherokee boy who learns about community from his grandmother. I used a combination of beadwork and watercolor for all the illustrations. Here's the cover: And the thumbnail (done in graphite) and color sketch (digital): And a timelapse detail from one of the internal pages (view fullscreen on a monitor for larger-than-life detail!): The full cover is wraparound with beadwork across the back as well. You can preorder here or through your preferred bookstore!
