Color Theory – Light and Shadow Demonstration On A Light Surface

Fischer Paints: Giada Font of Hope (Again!)

December 17, 2024 - It is pretty rare that freelance artists for Magic the Gathering get to help design a character for magic the Gathering. Often they are already set in stone. It is also rare in my experience that I get to paint the same legendary character twice! (Would love to paint Kiora again if you are listening MTG! LOL!) But in this case I was able to achieve both. A character I helped design by painting her the first time. So lets dig in with this 14 minute narrated video. She is all oil paint on cradled panel. (Even did some stenciling on this one.)
