Stephan Martiniere is an acclaimed multi award winning artist. In 2012 Stephan has been voted one of the 50th most inspirational artists by Imagine FX Magazine. Stephan has worked as a Director, Art Director and Concept artist in film, animation, video games and theme parks. Stephan Has worked on numerous animated TV series and films including Inspector Gadget, Ghostbusters, Where is Waldo and Titan A.E. As the director for the five animated musical adaptation shows “Madeline” Stephan Martiniere received the A.C.T Award, the Parent’s choice Award, the Humanitas Award and was nominated for an Emmy. Over the last 20 years Stephan has created over a hundred and fifty science fiction and fantasy book covers. He was the Art Director for video games including Uru and Myst 5, Stranglehold and the visually acclaimed game Rage. Stephan is also an accomplished concept illustrator who has worked on movies such as The Suicide Squad, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tomorrowland, The Guardians of the Galaxy, 300 Rise of an Empire, Total Recall 2012, Tron Legacy, Knowing, I Robot, Star Wars Episodes 2 & 3, Virus, Red Planet, Sphere, the Time Machine, and the upcoming Ready Player One, Alita: Battle angel and Venom. Martiniere also worked extensively with Disney Imagineering on Disneyland parks and expansions across the globe doing visual development for The Pirates of the Caribbean’s, Avatar and Star Wars.
Stephan has authored four art books, titles Quantum Dreams, Quantumscapes, Velocity and Trajectory.
Stephan Martiniere is currently a visual consultant and freelance concept illustrator on various films, games and theme parks and frequently teaches workshops and presents lectures worldwide. He is an advisory board member of the CG society.
